Refund & Cancellation Policy

All homas (fire labs) and poojas performed by thehomam.com on behalf of the customer are performed following Vedic procedures strictly by priests who have initiations in performing the rituals. Please read our refund and cancellation policy below.

1. Group Homas & Poojas

If any of our customers' names or birth star has been missed out by mistake while performing Group Homas/Poojas during a special event:

  • The particular name can be accommodated in another Fire Lab/Pooja at no additional cost
  • Failing which, the customer can request a full refund of the amount paid

2. Cancellation & Refund Policy

Cancellations are only accepted if made at least 2 days before the scheduled ceremony date.

  • 2+ days before the ceremony: Full 100% refund of the booking amount
  • Less than 2 days before the ceremony: No cancellation or refund is available
  • Refunds are processed within 5–7 business days to the original payment method

3. Rescheduling

  • The customer must inform the CRM team requesting the reschedule at least 2 days before the scheduled date so that preparations can be stopped
  • Necessary arrangements will be made for rescheduling the homa/pooja
  • Further updates on the date and time of the rescheduled homa will be communicated through email to the customer

4. Important Notes

All rituals are performed with strict adherence to Vedic procedures. We take every care to ensure accuracy of participant details.

  • No refunds are available once the homa/pooja has been performed as scheduled
  • Please ensure all participant details (name, birth star, gotra) are provided accurately at the time of booking
